Year 8 will be having their next session on Justice with their Year 10 leaders during Week 4. 8R, 8O, 8Y and 8G will be in the Hall Periods 2-5 on Monday 3rd August and 8B, 8I and 8V will be in the Hall Periods 2-5 on Wednesday 5th August. Please check your grouping before the session. The list is on the noticeboard outside the welfare office.
Year 10 Leaders are required to attend their allocated day(s) from Period 1.
If you are Year 8 and would like to join the Sound & Lighting Team, please take a note outside the Science staff room and return it to Mr Lam before 7th August, 2015 (Week 4 Friday). An interview will be arranged to all submissions in Week 5 by the senior Sound & Lighting Team members.
The Green Team Trashion show will be held Thursday, September 17th (second last day of Term 3) during lunch and 5th period. The theme this year is animals! Funds raised from this event will go directly towards a charity working towards ending Animal Trafficking and Poaching.
You can enter individually or as a group. Please return your entry forms to the box located outside the Social Sciences staff room.
The Green Team
Year 11 Biology Excursion will be on 29th July, 2015 (Wednesday). All 115 Biology students will go. They need to go to their normal roll classes to mark their roll. When the bell rings, they need to go to the lower quad to meet their Biology teachers.
Mrs Read's class will split into 4 groups.
Number 1 to 6 go to Mr Lam's class.
Number 7 to 12 go to Mrs Saunders' class.
Number 13 to 16 go to Mrs Naidu's class.
Number 17 to 20 go to Mrs Ganga's class.
Please take your worksheets from your Biology teachers and walk to the station in a group. Any questions please ask Mr Lam.
The Philosophy Club is presenting a challenge / competition for any interested student in years 7-12. You do NOT have to be a member of Philosophy Club to participate.
You may work individually or in pairs to present a short response on the following philosophical question:
Which is more important: truth, justice, freedom or happiness?
